MCF explained
Our Monthly Commitment Fee (MCF) secures your registration with BHS Dental. It helps fund extra capacity so we can see more patients and ensures fair access to appointments, even when demand is high.
MCF is not an NHS charge, not insurance, and it doesn’t replace NHS treatment fees.
When you register with BHS, you secure your oral health for at least 24 months with our contracts.
Our treatments follow the nationally set NHS charge bands, updated each April. Here’s what each band covers, so you know exactly what to expect.
Exam, diagnosis, advice, X‑rays, scale/polish if clinically necessary
Band 1 plus fillings, root canal or extractions
Band 1/2 plus lab‑made items (crowns, bridges, dentures)

If you’re in pain or need urgent dental care, we’re here to help today. We offer same‑day emergency appointments for both registered and unregistered patients, subject to availability. Registered patients can book directly online, and unregistered patients can access private emergency care with our simple pricing.

We offer private out of hours emergency dental appointment for both registered & non-registered patients. However it is not the charge of your NHS Price Payments.
Please give at least 24 hours’ notice by phone or email so we can offer your slot to another patient in need.
